About Me

I’m a Cincinnatian, born and raised, who’s passionate about a lot of different topics such as technology, business, and Cincinnati Chili. I am a Pitt Alumnus, and started out life as a software engineer working in Java and the dawn of .NET. After a variety of programming jobs and startups, I got my MBA and started my own software company, Unstoppable Software, which I later sold to my right hand man and good friend.

Somewhere in between all that, getting married to an incredible woman, and having three kids, I got the itch to get involved in repairing the climate through creating a renewables company, which I did with Synthica Energy. Lots of investors later, we built a $65mm Anaerobic Digestion facility called Synthica St. Bernard, and I’m working now to build more renewable energy plants that modernize organics-to-fuel.

What’s This Blog For?

I have a personal goal of writing a fiction novel, and am learning how to write one through an online course at The Novelry. I’ve always enjoyed writing, but never really have had time to commit to creating something more interesting. I’m hopeful that through exercising the writing muscle, I can improve and achieve that goal of publishing a real book someday.
